ITINERARY
Day 01
CHANDIGARH TO NARKANDA
- In the morning or on arrival at Chandigarh, our driver will receive you. Please plan your arrival in the morning or by 12:00 PM latest to avoid night journeys or frozen roads. The journey starts towards Narkanda. On the way, visit Matiyana, beautiful apple orchards and Shilaroo, Asia's highest altitude athlete track. Reach Narkanda in the evening and check in to the hotel. Enjoy the winter atmosphere and make yourself comfortable with the warmth of the fire. Later, enjoy dinner and take rest. Overnight stay at Narkanda.
Day 02
NARKANDA TO CHITKUL - SANGLA
- In the morning, after breakfast, check out from the hotel and start your exciting journey towards Kinnaur and Spiti Valley. Cover Rampur, Nathpa Jhakri Project and Karcham Wangtoo. Reach Sangla and proceed towards Chitkul, the last inhabited village near the Indo-Tibetan border, followed by a visit to Rakcham. In the evening, reach Sangla. Overnight stay at Sangla.
Day 03
SANGLA - NAKO - GEU - TABO
- In the morning, check out from the hotel and start your journey towards Spiti Valley. Explore Khab Sangam, Nako Lake and Geu Village, famous for its naturally preserved mummy. Enjoy the beautiful winter landscapes and mountain views along the route. In the evening, reach Tabo. Overnight stay at Tabo.
Day 04
TABO - DHANKAR - KEE - CHICHAM - KAZA
- In the morning, check out from the hotel and visit Tabo Monastery, approximately 1200 years old. Continue your journey towards Kaza, covering Dhankar Monastery, Kee Monastery and Chicham Bridge, Asia's highest altitude suspension bridge. Enjoy the breathtaking landscapes of Spiti Valley. In the evening, reach Kaza and check in to the hotel. Overnight stay at Kaza.
Day 05
KAZA LOCAL SIGHTSEEING
- In the morning, after breakfast, explore the beautiful villages of Hikkim, Langza and Komik. Enjoy the stunning winter landscapes and experience the local culture of Spiti Valley. In the evening, return to Kaza. Explore the local market and shop for original Tibetan items. Return to the hotel and take rest. Overnight stay at Kaza.
Day 06
KAZA TO KALPA
- In the morning, after breakfast, check out from the hotel and start your return journey towards Kalpa. Enjoy the beautiful mountain scenery along the way. In the evening, reach Kalpa and visit Suicide Point. Enjoy the breathtaking views of the Kinner Kailash mountain range. Overnight stay at Kalpa.
Day 07
KALPA TO SHIMLA
- In the morning, after breakfast, check out from the hotel and start your journey towards Shimla. Enjoy the scenic mountain roads and beautiful landscapes. In the evening, reach Shimla and celebrate the completion of your memorable Winter Spiti White Gold Expedition. Check in to the hotel. Overnight stay at Shimla.
Day 08
SHIMLA TO CHANDIGARH DROP
- In the morning, after breakfast, check out from the hotel and start your return journey towards Chandigarh. Reach Chandigarh in approximately 4 hours and get dropped at Chandigarh Railway Station / Airport. Your Winter Spiti Expedition comes to an end with beautiful memories to cherish forever.
